Terms of service

These terms are the rules for using the egymenu website and the egymenu ordering system. egymenu runs both. By starting a trial or a plan you agree to them. They are short on purpose: if anything is unclear, ask us.

What egymenu is

egymenu is an ordering system for restaurants, cafes and cloud kitchens. Guests order from a QR menu on their own phone, orders reach the orders board and the kitchen display, and guests track them. It also covers kitchen printing and delivery with the restaurant's own drivers.

egymenu is not a POS and does not replace a fiscal (tax-certified) cash register. Restaurants that must use one keep it alongside egymenu.

The free trial

Every restaurant starts with a 7-day free trial with its real menu. You pay nothing during the trial. We set up your menu for free from a photo of your printed menu. After the trial you choose a plan, or you stop.

Plans and payment

Prices are in US dollars. We take no commission on your orders, however many you get.

  • Monthly: $50 per month.
  • 6 months: $250, paid upfront for the whole period.
  • Yearly: $500, paid upfront for the whole year.

No refunds

Payments are not refunded. This includes the prepaid 6-month and yearly plans. The reason is the free trial: every restaurant uses egymenu for 7 days before paying anything, so please use the trial to decide.

Stopping

You can stop using egymenu at any time. Tell us on WhatsApp or by email. Money already paid is not refunded.

Your part

  • Your menu, prices, descriptions and allergen information are yours to keep correct.
  • Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what is done with your staff accounts.
  • Your official receipts and taxes stay your responsibility, as they would without egymenu.

Your guests' data

The order data of your guests belongs to your restaurant. egymenu stores and processes it on your behalf, only to run your ordering. The privacy policy explains what is stored.

Keeping the system running

We work to keep egymenu running and we keep encrypted backups, but no online system can promise it will never stop. If something does not work, contact us and we will look into it.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top.
